Licensed Veterinary Technician/ Canine Certified Rehab Practioner
Luanna graduated with an associate’s degree in animal health technology from Centralia College in 1990.
Over her years as a career veterinary technician she has had experience with mixed animals, research, emergency and critical care medicine, dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, hospital management and most recently animal rehabilitation.
She is driven to continue her learning curve so that she can strive to provide the best nursing care to the patients entrusted to her by Dr Lisa and the clients of Grandview Animal Care Center.
Rehabilitation medicine offers her a balance between science and love of people and their pets. Teaching people how to provide exercises to their pets to aid in strengthening muscles and improve co-ordination as well as, intensifying the relationship between pet and parent gives her a feeling of success.
Luanna was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario a small tourist town two and half hours north of International Falls, MN. It was there she developed her love of the outdoors, animals and international travel.
She is the proud pet parent of two German Short Haired Pointers, Max and Bella. They get to go to work every day with Luanna’s husband, Geoff where they offer “pointer hugs” when the day gets stressful.
