Licensed Veterinary Technician/ Companion Animal Trainer and Pet Behavior Counselor
Denise is a licensed veterinary technician and companion animal trainer, and has been practicing in the field for over 10 years. She attended Buffalo State College and Medaille College where she earned degrees in both business management and science. Currently she conducts group private obedience classes. She has also developed a class to prepare dogs for the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dogs International certification. In addition to these, she created a class for people and their dogs to get moving and get in shape called PAWlates. PAWlates is an exercise class that you do with your pet that incorporates low to medium impact aerobics and yoga. Denise is always looking for ways for people to maintain and even strengthen the bond between themselves and their pets. She hosts many extracurricular annual events that include Easter egg Hunts, in the spring, Dog Olympics in the summer, HOWL-OWeen in the fall and photos with Santa in the winter. Denise currently has 2 dogs that she shares her home with. Her dogs include her Vizsla “Leena” and her Miniature Golden Doodle “Gia”. Denise has taken dance lessons since she was 3 years old and still enjoys a tap class to this day. Denise likes to go hiking in places like Letchworth State Park, the Niagara Gorge, and Watkins Glen State Park. She is always hoping to find beautiful new places to explore and enjoys attending concerts. She is also an unlikely football fan, and would love to see the Seatlle Seahawks make it to the Super Bowl again this year!
