Level 1 Obedience Class is a 7 week course for puppies and dogs of all ages and sizes.
- Learn basic obedience commands and ways to use them in practical situations, along with different techniques to discourage undesirable behaviors.
- Students are given time at the end of each session to play and socialize. Positive socialization is imperative to your pet’s development.
- Puppies for GrandView Animal Care Center’s group obedience class should be at least 12 weeks of age to attend. All puppies and dog’s need proof of rabies and kennel cough vaccines.
Level 2 Obedience Class is a 6 week course designed for dogs and their owners who have passed a Level 1 or Basic Obedience course. This class is also a Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International prep course!
- Shapes behaviors and teaches your dog to have good manners in the home and in the community.
- Stresses responsible dog ownership.
- Prepare your dog to take the AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST or THERAPY DOG INTERNATIONAL TEST!
- Perfect the recall and “stay” command and be able to use it in any situation.
- Teach your dog to handle and BE handled in every situation.
We always encourage the entire family to attend.
Class sizes are small to allow for personal attention.
